When questioned regarding the performance rider explained he was obliged to race wide throughout and as result was left without a finishing effort however also added the filly may have also come to the end of its preparation. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Trainer advised the filly would now be sent for a spell.

13e PRINCESS ZAFIRAH 4/07/2020 Nyngan Began awkwardly and shifted out carrying a runner out onto another runner which was hampered.
14e JELLAMBI 10/03/2020 Wagga When questioned regarding the mare racing more forward today Trainer advised Stewards with the Blinkers off today and stepping up in trip in a more slowly run event, this allowed the mare to be in a more forward position. He added it has always been his intention to have the mare settle in a handy position, however the mare has been missing the start over the shorter trip, and with the blinkers being removed the mare jumped much better. Mr Heywood was reminded of his obligation to inform Stewards if there is a change in riding tactics.

11 STAND YOUR GROUND 6/07/2020 Wagga Rider was questioned regarding the performance. He stated that after being bumped on jumping, he settled off midfield with cover. Add his mount was travelling only fairly throughout the event and was most disappointing in its ability to finish off the race in which he believes was because of the fillies inability to get through the heavy tack conditions today. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

2 JUST BUSINESS 14/07/2020 Wagga Rider was questioned regarding the performance. He stated that after being slow to begin, he was obliged to settle further back than anticipated. He added that approaching the 1200m his mnt blundered and became unbalanced. He added that his mnt only travelled fairly thereafter and was also inclined to lay in during the middle stages. He further added that his mount once again blundered passing the 500m and in his opinion did not handle the shifty track conditions today. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
3 SNATCHA 13/06/2020 Narrandera Slow to begin. Struggled to keep up with the main body of the field throughout the event despite the efforts of its rider. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a poor post-race recovery. Trainer was advised that the gelding, which was beaten by 22L, must barrier trial before being permitted to race again. Trialled successfully.

10 RUN FOR RAFFIN 14/07/2020 Wagga Slow to begin. Raced wide and without cover throughout the event. Apprentice was spoken to in regard to her riding throughout the middle stages of the event and if there was an opportunity to obtain cover passing the 1200m. She stated that she did seek to obtain that position but was unable to do so after her mount commenced to pull and proved somewhat difficult to restrain. Stewards advised apprentice that in future she must always endeavour to obtain cover whenever there is an opportunity to do so to avoid covering unnecessary extra ground.

A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.

8 FALLING WATERS 14/07/2020 Wagga Rider was questioned regarding the performance. He stated that after being slow away, he elected to settle midfield with cover. He added that his mount only travelled fairly throughout the event and was most disappointing in its efforts to finish off the race. In his opinion, with its big weight, may not have appreciated the heavy track conditions today. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
