2 BOBBY DAZZLER 27/01/2020 Warwick Farm Rounding the home turn had to be steadied when tightened for room. Near the 200m was galloped on and subsequently retired from the event. A post-race vet exam revealed the gelding to be lame (2/5) in the near hind leg and also to have been galloped on that leg. Vet clearance since received.

Rdr stated mnt did not appear to be comfortable racing inside other rnrs and he was obliged to ride it along throughout the event to hold its position. On straightening, ran in away from the running rail and became badly unbalanced. Rdr further stated that from this point he did not test mnt to the finish of the race. A post-race vet exam rev no abs. Tnr advised he would now spell the gelding. Tnr was advised gelding must barrier trial before racing again. Passed barrier trial Goulburn 28/1/2020.
6 STRATUM’S ROSE 26/01/2020 Wagga When questioned regarding the performance rider explained from the wide barrier she was obliged to make some use of her mount in the early stages to cross runners to her inside to obtain the lead. She added as a result the mare was left without a strong finishing effort, but overall, she was satisfied with the performance. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
7 CERCA TROVA 13/07/2019 Wyong Began awkwardly and from the outside barrier was then shifted behind runners in the early stages.

5 GAELIC BOBS Silver Bonus Scheme 7/02/2020 Canterbury Park Rider reported that her mount became unbalanced behind momentarily passing the 600m when she was endeavouring to shift to the outside of the heels of the leader. After passing the 200m was bumped and became unbalanced when crowded between another runner, which shifted in slightly when inclined to lay in, and another runner, which laid out under pressure. In this incident the gelding became unbalanced.
6 GREEN JACKET BOBS Silver Bonus Scheme 1/09/2019 Wyong When questioned re performance, rdr stated that after being slow to begin, his mount travelled fairly throughout the middle stages, trailing the eventual winner. He said, however, that when tempo of the race increased from the 600m his mount raced greenly and failed to quicken in the heavy going. He added that in his opinion may be suited with the addition of blinkers. A post-race vet exam rev no abs.

When questioned, rider stated that whilst issued with the notified change of tactics, when his mount began well and he was trapped wide and unable to comply with his instructions he allowed his mount to stride to the lead.
