4 VIN DU JOUR 6/09/2019 Canberra Near 150m, when weakening, made contact with running rail. When questioned regarding disappointing performance rdr stated mount travelled well in the lead throughout event however when placed under pressure on straightening, failed to respond to riding and weakened noticeably over final 200m. Rdr dropped whip passing 300m. Post-race vet exam rev no abs. Stewards will follow up on the post-race condition and future plans of the mare. Trainer reported mare pulled up well and would continue on with prep.
6 SPINHER 13/09/2019 Goulburn Rider was permitted to ride his mount 1/2kg overweight in accordance with the overweight policy.
7 FAIRY BEAST 6/09/2019 Canberra Stewards permitted the rider to ride to mare 1kg over its allotted weight.

2 BOLLYWOOD BOBS Bonus Scheme 11/09/2019 Canterbury Park Began awkwardly, shifted in and hampered another rnr.
3 LOVE ME BROKE 23/03/2019 Canberra Slow to begin. Near 350 metres was steadied & lost ground after it laid in close to heels. Rider stated mount, was slightly slow to begin, failed to display any early speed & raced greenly in straight. Added in her opinion the colt may benefit from a step up in distance & addition of blinkers. A post-race vet exam of the colt did not detect any abnormalities. Stable rep could offer no explanation for the performance and advised it was now the stable’s intention to apply blinkers to the colt. Rep was advised that horse must barrier trial before racing again. Trialed 13/9/19 Goulburn.

7 DUENNA BOBS Bonus Scheme 12/09/2019 Hawkesbury Near the 650m had to be eased away from heels. Laid out under pressure in the final 100m.

4 SUNDAY POET 26/08/2019 Bathurst Raced keenly in the early stages. When questioned re performance, rdr stated that although the gelding overraced in the early and middle stages it still was very disappointing. Added in her opinion the gelding may be better suited when racing on softer tracks then today’s Good (4) surface. A post-race vet exam rev no abs.
5 VEE EIGHT 17/05/2019 Goulburn Raced wide throughout. Rider was reminded of her obligation to rider her mounts out fully to the end of the race.
8 MASTER OF NORWAY 7/09/2019 Griffith Rider was questioned regarding the gelding’s performance. Reported that he was instructed to ride with cover and when the gelding began awkwardly, he was obliged to settle to the back of the field. He added that the gelding didn’t travel comfortably throughout the event but could offer no other explanations as to the poor performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
12 RESPUN 18/03/2019 Queanbeyan On arrival at the start, rdr requested vet exam due to concerns with action. Passed fit to start. Q'd rdr std during the event he was not entirely satisfied with his mnt’s action and rather than commence a wide run rounding the h/t, due to his concerns with his mnt’s action he rode it conservatively rounding the h/t, however when afforded clear running soon after straightening, his mnt ran home only fairly. Trnr std that in his view the gelding would be better suited on surfaces with more give but would report any issues in the days. Trnr reported horse pulled up fine will now be spelled.
13 CHYSEING IVY 13/09/2019 Goulburn When quest, rdr std that passing the 900m when she heard a call from the rider and formed the view that that rider was in difficulty when her mnt was pulling hard and awkward on the heels of the leader, she shifted her mnt out to allow that runner to shift out off the heels of that runner and as a consequence was trapped three wide for the remainder of the race. Explanation accepted.
