1 DUCHESS OF WINDSOR (NZ) 27/09/2019 Goulburn Passing the 200m was eased from heels. When quest regarding the disappointing performance of the mare, rider stated that his mount hung out during the event and proved disappointing in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination of the mare did not reveal any abnormality.
2 HARAMAIN 8/09/2019 Mudgee Rider stated his intention was to lead on gelding today that was up in distance. He said after beginning well, his mount failed to muster enough speed to cross runners to his inside in early stages & was caught wide & without cover. Added when he commenced to place pressure on mount near 800m mount failed to respond & commenced to lose ground & at this point was a beaten a conveyance. A post race vet revealed no abs. Trainer was advised a gelding would be required to barrier trial prior to racing. Has since trialled.
3 BOXING 21/09/2019 Wagga Raced wide throughout. Carried extremely wide rounding the home turn when a runner hung out despite the efforts of its rider.
5 INSIDER TRADER 22/09/2019 Nowra Slow to begin. Rider was reminded of her obligation to rider her mounts out fully to the finish at least hands and heels where possible.

4 TE ATA 20/09/2019 Canberra Q’d rider std that he anticipated obtaining a pos much further back in the field as is the mare’s usual racing pattern, however his mnt began particularly well from its wide gate and travelled strongly in the early stages he obliged to continue on and assumed the lead. Trnr confirmed the instructions and expressed surprise that the mare had led. After viewing a replay of the race, Steward’s accepted riders explanation.

1 MERCURIAL LAD 2/05/2019 Wagga Rider stated the only explanation he could offer for the gelding’s disappointing performance was that it did not appreciate todays firmer track surface. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame (3/5) in the off foreleg. Co-trainer was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to horse being permitted to race or trial again. Vet cert received.
5 BART 17/09/2019 Moruya When qst re tactics, rdr std instructions were to stick to fence. Tnr confirmed instructions as he had anticipated leading today & was hopeful of establishing a winning break in middle stages. Whilst aware rnrs were making ground to the outside, in opening event observed rnr perform well on inside section of straight & noted geld had performed well when similar tactics adopted at Canberra 24/5. Added was surprised to see another rnr lead as clearly as it did which in his view disadvantaged his gelding re formulated instructions. A post-race vet exam rev no abs. Explan accepted.
6 COUP DE MAIN 28/09/2019 Kembla Grange Hung out when placed under pressure in the straight, proved difficult to ride out.
11 SUGAR BAY LEONARD 20/09/2019 Canberra Slow to begin.
12 HIGH DUDE 12/05/2019 Queanbeyan Raced wide in the early stages before being allowed to stride forward and race outside the lead passing the 1100m. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no abnormalities.

4 JOY AND MIRTH 20/09/2019 Newcastle Inside the 400m raced tight to the outside of another and approaching the 200m had to be eased to avoid the heels of another rnr when that runner shifted out marginally.

10 DOWN THE RIVER 27/09/2019 Goulburn Shifted out on jumping and bumped a runner. Passing the 100m was eased to avoid heels and was then held up and unable to obtain completely clear running for the remainder of the race.
12 ENCHANTED GLORY 8/06/2019 Aquis Park Gold Coast Began awkwardly and shifted in making contact with Mishani Romance which in turn was turned inwards and made heavy contact with Regal Romance. Passing the 500m was slightly inconvenienced when Aunty Snow laid in.
