4 SAINT HENRY 28/10/2019 Benalla When giving ground passing the 200 metres was steadied when awkwardly placed near the heels. Rider reported that in his opinion the gelding was not suited to the Victorian way of going and hung out.

Rider reported that his mount didn’t appreciate the fast pace in which the race was run and may have reached the end of its preparation. Trainer reported that in his opinion the gelding did not run out the distance of today’s event and intended to drop the gelding back distance for its next start. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no abnormalities.

3 BLIND TURN 8/12/2018 Albury Slow to begin and bumped after the start. Steadied near the 800m. A post-race veterinary examination found the gelding to be 1/5 lame in the off fore. Trainer was advised a veterinary clearance must be submitted prior to the horse racing again. Vet clearance since received.
4 IDLE FANCY BOBS Bonus Scheme 30/07/2019 Albury Was inclined to lay in when placed under pressure in the straight. When questioned regarding the gelding racing in a more forward position rider explained she settled closer than anticipated but advised she was instructed to ride the gelding positively out of the barriers. Trainer confirmed the nature on the instructions and added he had instructed the riders who had rode the gelding previously to ride the gelding in this manner. Trnr was reminded of his obligation to notify Stewards if there is a change in riding tactics.
5 REDFU 11/08/2019 Wagga Which was resuming from a lengthy spell underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was found suitable to race. Steadied near the 1000m. Hung out badly in the straight and could not be tested at any stage. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. 6 TOORSINAA BOBS Bonus Scheme 23/06/2019 Wagga When questioned rider explained he was instructed to race in a forward position, adding after beginning well he was able to take up that position. He added during the event he was brushed on several occasions which his mount appeared to resent and when clear in the straight the filly disappointed with its failure to run on. Trainers rep agreed with the comments of the rider and added the filly which was first up from a spell would derive benefit from todays run. A post-race veterinary examination did not detect any abnormalities.
