16e CRYSTAL LAKE BOBS Bonus Scheme 11/02/2019 Tamworth Rider explained that she had intended to obtain a position behing midfield with cover in the early stages, however her mount began well and as the tempo was slow, she was more forward without pressure. She said that passing the 600m the filly began to weaken quickly, failed to respond to her vigour and inside the 300m she felt that something had gone amiss with the filly and eased it down. Post race vet exam rev the filly was uneven in its hind gait. Stable rep said that the filly would be spelled.

A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be 1/5 lame in the off-fore leg. Stable representative was advised that a veterinary certificate would be required prior to the filly being permitted to race or trial again. vet cert rec 10/7/19.
