1 JOEY’S DESTINY 7/10/2018 Coonamble Overraced in early & mid stages; Rider stated mount overraced throughout early & mid stages however was afforded a soft run throughout. He added it failed to let down in straight & was very disappointing. He added his only explanation was the gelding failed to carry the 63kg impost today; Trainer stated he was very disappointed with performance of gelding & only explanation he could offer was gelding did not appreciate very heavy weight. He undertook to report to the Stewards on the immediate racing plans for the gelding; a post-race vet exam revealed a slow recovery rate.
4 BEEOKAY 28/06/2019 Tamworth Cast its near hind plate during the race.
9 LA LA LOOPSY 23/06/2019 Wagga Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after having not raced since February 2017 and was found suitable to race. A post-race veterinary examination did not detect any abnormalities. Stewards interviewed Trainer J, post-race, regarding reports the mare had delivered a live foal since its last race start in February 2017. Stewards adjourned the inquiry to allow Trainer to gather all relative paper work regarding the mare’s time away from racing to be forwarded to Stewards and to allow Stewards to further investigate the matter.
