3 MILEAGE 23/07/2019 Wyong Rider stated that from 400m he did not feel mount was travelling well enough to make a wide run and when he observed runners to inside commence to shift out he elected to shift his mount in rather than be forced wide. Added after committing to inside run mount was briefly held up rounding the home turn, however had clear and uninterrupted running in the straight where it ran on well, before peaking on its run inside the 100m.

6 ALONEINABAA 25/07/2019 Kembla Grange Began awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with another runner. Raced keenly in the middle stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame (2/5) in the near foreleg. Stable rep was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to the gelding being permitted to race or barrier trial again. Vet cert received.
7 NINKY NONK 2/01/2019 Sapphire Coast Rdr was reminded of his obligation to ride his mount out fully to the end of the race.
9 SUNDAY POET 21/01/2019 Moruya COT: Option to ride mount quieter if circumstances prevailed where it was likely to be trapped wide; led. When questioned, rdr stated that whilst she was obliged to make some use of her mount to obtain the lead from her wide draw, in her view her mount was disappointing in its failure to finish its race off. A post-race vet exam rev no abs.

When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding which was backing up after racing the day prior at Kembla Grange, rider stated that he was somewhat disappointed in his mount’s failure to finish off its race.

6 CLASSIC CONQUEST 28/07/2019 Sapphire Coast Passing the 200m had to be directed to the inside of runners to continue into clear running.
8 TEARAWAY CHARLIE 9/04/2019 Moruya Rider stated was obliged to make some use of mount to cross and lead and as a consequence mount was left without a finishing effort.
10 CLEARLY REGAL BOBS Bonus Scheme 2/08/2019 Goulburn Passing the 250m was contacted by a runner which shifted out when weakening. Q’d regarding the performance of the gelding, rider stated that with the strong early speed he subsequently took up a position behind the leaders. He added that his mount was then somewhat disappointing in its failure to finish off its race. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding did not reveal any abnormality.

Q’d rdr std that his mnt weakened inside the final 150m and felt as though it had a soundness issue. A post-race vet exam of the mare revealed it to have a slow recovery rate. Trnr advised that the there was no obvious issue with the mare upon return to his stables and expressed disappointment with the mare’s performance. Trnr was advised that he would be required to provide a vet clearance prior to racing again. Vet cert received.

9 CITIZEN’S ARREST 20/07/2019 Kembla Grange Crowded for room on jumping. Raced keenly and was difficult to settle in the early stages, and near the 1200m was steadied off heels.

7 OLD MAN’S ANGEL 28/07/2019 Sapphire Coast Q’d rider stated that when trapped wide in the middle stages, she allowed her mount to stride forward to obtain a position outside the leader. She added that her mount was under pressure prior to the home turn and was disappointing in the fashion that it weakened in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding did not reveal any abnormality.
8 FUTURE DREAMS 28/07/2019 Sapphire Coast Approaching the 100m had to momentarily ease when runner shifted out.
9 CANFORD CALLING 2/08/2019 Goulburn Passing the 1300m, was taken three wide by a runner which when racing keenly was shifted out from off the heels of another. Passing the 1000m when a runner improved to the inside of the gelding, He continued to race three wide throughout the middle stages.
