Added in his view gelding would be best suited being stepped up in distance for its next race start. Post race vet no abs.
8 BART 23/06/2018 Gold Coast A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be displaying a poor post-race recovery. Trainer J Cleary stated that the gelding would be sent for an immediate spell.
9 VELARO 21/09/2018 Scone Began awkwardly and was slow away.
11 TRISTAN DE ANGEL 5/10/2018 Ipswich When questioned regarding the tactics adopted and also his riding from the 600m, apprentice C. Gallagher stated that after being caught wide in the early stages he elected to restrain and obtain a position with cover at the rear of the field. He added that approaching the 600m the gelding was left flatfooted when the pace of the race increased, and for this reason he elected to improve to the inside and save ground rather than shift wider on the track at this stage. He further added that once entering the home straight he was able to obtain clear running and the gelding finished the race off
12 MANANGATANG (IRE) 20/09/2018 Hawkesbury L/Scr at 2.51pm on vets advice after being loaded into the barriers became fractious, got its head down & its near hind leg on the running board. Trn advised to trial prior to racing again. Trialled Muswellbrook 26/9/18.

16 LIPS ’N’ LASHES 3/10/2018 Warwick Farm Began awkwardly and shifted in. Passing the 600m hung in despite the efforts of its rider. Shifted out passing the 200m.
17e ROY’S COMMAND 1/10/2018 Muswellbrook Slow to begin, then was crowded and had to be shifted to the inside passing the 900m.
18e THINK LIKE A FOX 22/09/2018 Rosehill Gardens Rdr std from a wide barrier was obl to make some use of mount in early stgs to hold a mid pos. Added mount raced greenly in the run, was inclined to race keenly & near the 700m he became awk on heels of another rnr & was obliged to shift out to a 4 wide position, where he was left racing without cover from that point. Further std in straight mount raced greenly &, after he dropped his nearside rein near the 250m, was one-paced to the finish of the race. Post race vet did not rev any abs.

2 MADAM ROUGE BOBS Bonus Scheme 29/09/2018 Royal Randwick Became fractious after being loaded into the barriers, was examined by the Club's Veterinary Officer and deemed suitable to race. Rider advised the filly pulled hard in the middle stages when the tempo slackened, but in the straight was one-paced & was unable to finish the race off. He added in his view mount would be suited by coming back in distance where it would enjoy a stronger tempo. A post-race vet exam rev filly to be 2/5 lame off foreleg & to have sustained a small laceration to the near hind fetlock. Rep advised vet clearance req prior to racing again. Clearance received.

Added after the 550m he was able to follow rnr into event &, after shifting to the outside on str, mount took some time to respond to his riding & in his view would appreciate being stepped up in dist. Post race vet rev geld to be slow to recover.

6 DON’T GIVE A DAMN 8/09/2018 Rosehill Gardens Soon after the start was crowded between rnr's. Rdr std was his intention to lead on mount but after being slow to begin & then hampered soon after, his mount was not able to race in a fwd pos as antic. Added when he obs a pos with cvr avail behind another rnr he elected to trail that rnr but then soon after his mount commenced to race keenly. Further std leaving 1000m was taken 3 wide where mount raced without cover fm that point & cont to race on same lead leg thoughout mid stgs & was not until near the 100m that it changed stride & felt more comf in its action. Post race vet rev no abs.
9 RUTHLESS AGENT (NZ) 28/09/2018 Moruya Slow to begin. Overraced in the middle stages and near the 1000m was steadied off heels.
10 FUEL 26/09/2018 Rosehill Gardens Began awkwardly & shifted out.
11 O’ SO HAZY 19/09/2018 Warwick Farm Near the 850m was hampered. Rdr std instr were to be conservative today as its raced too keenly in lead prev & in order to have mount finish its race off, it was decided to ride it with cvr, however, during early & mid stgs, due to composition of field he was unable to secure a pos close to rail & after the 600m, he was left racing wide & without cover & further back than antic. Post race vet rev no abs.Trn conf instr & was reminded of obligation to notify Stewards of any change in riding tactics in future.

15 EGYPTIAN SYMBOL 8/09/2018 Rosehill Gardens Rider advised the mare enjoyed a comfortable run throughout the event but could offer no explanation for its failure to finish the race off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have speedy cuts to the off-hind pastern.
17 PERFORMER 8/09/2018 Rosehill Gardens Near the 600m, when racing keenly shifted out when being steadied from heels. Rider advised the colt raced keenly in the middle stages and in his opinion was not entirely comfortable on today's heavy track conditions.

Rdr std with the slow tempo in the early & middle stages he elected to shift out & impr to the lead near the 1000m. Added in addition to the tempo he felt that by going fwd this would advantange his mount as he is looking for additional ground & would make the race more of a staying contest. Futher std mount is better suited on a track with a more forgiving surface.

Rdr std had been asked to ride mount prominently if possible, however, in early stgs he was unable to match the early speed & was unable to maintain a pos despite his efforts to the inside of another rnr, therefore, allowed that rnr to cross him & settled slightly further back in the small field.

9 FANNING 25/07/2018 Canterbury Park Slow to begin. Rider advised that making the home turn, his mount became momentarily tight to the inside of runner when contacted by that runner and became unbalanced and from this point, did not stretch out. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame (2/5) in the near hind leg. Trainer was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to racing again. Clearance received and trialled 24/09/18 and 8/10/18.

13 AIMALAC MILLIE 15/09/2018 Newcastle Passing the 150m had to be eased and lost its rightful running.
14 LEOGANG 18/04/2018 Kensington Slow to begin. Passing the 300m was disappointed for running to the inside of another rnr. A short distance later was steadied & shifted to the inside of another rnr. A post race vet exam found the gelding to have been galloped on the outside of the off-fore pastern. Trn advised gelding will now be spelled. Spelled since.
16 NOVEMBER MAN 1/10/2018 Kensington Rdr std antic mount would trav prom, however, was under specific instr to achieve this without having to make use of it. Added in early stgs fm outside barrier did not show great deal of gate speed &, when it became apparent that if he maintained his pos he would trav wide & without cover, he elected after the 900m to shift between rnr's to obt cover. Added in str, mount was inclined to lay in under pressure & over final 300m was obl to change whip into his right hand appr the 200m. Further std mount was somewhat diff for him to ride in normal manner over latter stages.
