4 SKIPPER JOE 26/10/2018 Bathurst Slow to begin. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no abnormalities.
5 IN TOO DEEP 2/04/2018 Oakbank Raced keenly in the early stages of the event and near the 200 metres was obliged to alter course to the outside of SIR GARFIELD as that horse laid in and shifted in.

2 THE TOWERS 22/05/2018 Wyong Post race vet of gelding, which hung out badly rounding the h/t & was unable to be tested in run to the finish, did not rev any abs. Rep advised gelding would now be required to trial to Stewards satisfaction on 2 occasions prior to racing again.
4 NARROW NECK NELSON 26/10/2018 Bathurst When qtd regarding the disappointing performance of geld, rdr stated that after beginning well, his intention was to settle on speed with cover. He added however, that given the slow tempo in the mid stgs, commenced to race keenly from the 1000m, whereby he allowed gelding to stride fwd and find a pos outside the lead approaching the 900m. He further stated that approaching the 700m and rounding the first turn, the gelding commenced to hang out. He concluded that the geld did not appreciate slow tempo today and would have appreciated a faster early speed whereby could sit on speed with cover.

4 TALLYMAN 22/10/2018 Coonabarabran Near the 700m commenced to hang out carrying another runner very wide on the track and continued to hang out until near the 400m losing considerable ground. Trainer was advised that gelding would be required to barrier trial to the satisfaction of stewards before being permitted to race again. Since trialled.

Added mount trav only fair throughout run & was disap in its failure to finish off the race. Post race vet rev mare to be slow to recover. Trn std mare pleased leading into event & only excuse he could offer was it may not have appreciated today's warmer weather cond. Added would now be spelled. Trainer advised that he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the mare and confirmed it had now been spelled.
5 LA RENARDE 26/10/2018 Bathurst When qtd reg tactics employed on mare, rdr std that instructions were to ride mare in a prominent pos with cover, however was given option to lead if was unable to obtain cover. Said after beginning fairly, she rode mare positively to comply with instructions, however when it became apparent would be caught wide & without cover in early stages, allowed her mnt to stride fwd. Added that when took up the lead near 900m, mare commenced to race fierce despite efforts to restrain and got head up and refused to settle. Said allowed to stride fwd given weight req to carry. Trn confirmed instruct.
6 OPEROSE 27/10/2018 Harden Reared on jumping and lost ground (5L). Warning recorded against the mare.
